-
german engineering and
typeface design connection

-
the typeface that emerge as a paradox

Developed in academic context, this poster wants to reflect the most relevant characteristics of the FF DIN typeface, created by Albert-Jan Pool in 1995.

Considered by many the best DIN font ever made. FF DIN emerged as an opposite to trends crowed with things that used to be too complex.

With the main objective to create a communication piece, aligned with the typeface nature, where the connection between the German engineering and typeface design its quite evident. The poster was designed to conduct the viewer around the concept, from accuracy to neutrality with a mechanical look-and-feel in between, in the most understandable and systematic way possible.
